at East Fort Worth Montessori Academy
We seek to promote learning for all students by providing equitable access to information and the development of literacy skills. The library, together with the media center and the classroom teachers, seeks to be a part of the collaborative learning effort that produces creative students. It has been demonstrated that when classroom, technology and literacy educators work together students achieve higher levels of learning, problem-solving, literacy, reading and informational technology skills.
The library maintains a collection that is designed to assists
students with their curricular,
informational, and recreational needs. In addition, the library program seeks to develop positive attitudes toward libraries, recreational reading and information sources that
will promote the lifelong use of libraries
and other resources to help students stay informed in a rapidly changing world.
