Hello,

East Fort Worth Montessori Academy, a Recognized Title One Charter School, is requesting your support and sponsorship for our Fourth Annual Spring Festival!  Our Spring Festival is a outdoor community event focused on activities and learning experiences inspired by our diverse campus and created by the students and teachers.  From hands on Science activities and games in our outdoor learning environment, Multicultural Music and Dance, to just great fun this special event will be attended by our student body, family, friends, and you. 

Our Annual Spring Festival is our major fundraiser for our campus.  The funds raised at this festival support each classroom, teaching and educational materials, our outdoor learning environment, campus enrichment, and so much more! 

In addition, another goal of our Spring Festival is to strengthen the social and scientific aptitudes of students through the power of family interaction.  By supporting and sponsoring EFWMA Spring Festival, you and our educators are encouraging parents and students to appreciate the importance of community, nature, and the energy and pleasure of diversity.  Each activity is designed to promote scientific thinking and communication.  The hands on approach makes learning science a meaningful and productive process for all involved. 

We are currently seeking community services/organizations and local businesses that would like to participate in this event.  We are also requesting donations of related games, supplies, door prizes and refreshments for this event.  Your support and our Spring Festival will:

• give parents and children a risk free environment in which to experience science activities
• allow parents to see how something fun can also be concept building and educational
• give children an opportunity to see that their parents value science
• help parents gain insight into our outdoor learning environment program and our national goal to excel in science
• help parents realize that enjoying science and being good in science isn't "genetic".....just because they didn't like it, or weren't good at it doesn't mean their children should or will feel the same way
• foster and encourage education for the whole family 
• bring all the aspects of the great outdoors “home”.
