• Starting online classes on March 16th, 2020 has allowed us time to review what works and what needs refinement. After three weeks, our staff now knows that our students will not be able to get through or master the remaining standards as they will under normal circumstances. This means, as a team we have to be highly selective on concepts and standards we believe are foundational for your child to be successful in the next grade. In addition, both students and staff have moved to a platform different from what they are accustomed to. For some, it was a learning curve, while others immediately embraced online or distance learning. Considering these factors, time will continue to guide our pacing and selection of standards as we aim to meet the requirements of each grade level. Your input is valuable to us; it allows us to trim and hold on to what matters as it relates to educating the whole child. I can assure you E.F.W.M.A's staff deep sense of care resonates with the way we do business and our business is educating children.
