Dear EFWMA Parents and Guardians,

We are at a point in the season where inclement weather sometimes affects the school day. EFWMA would like to remind families of our procedures for inclement weather and potential school closings.

Please remember that if no announcement is made, EFWMA will be operating on our regular schedule. (Please plan to start school at the regular times unless told otherwise)  EFWMA will make every effort to communicate closures by 5 a.m. that day. If EFWMA decides to close, communication will arrive in a variety of methods, such as through FasTalk from your child’s teacher, a phone call from the principal, social media, and the district website.

Safe Roads are the most crucial medium during inclement weather. In the past, district leaders personally drove across major roads to monitor conditions. Moving forward, district leaders will monitor roads using apps, social media, and news channels.
